101 Great Thanksgiving Recipes "Dear Ann, November is already upon us and I haven't a clue what to do. Several of my husband's immediate family and extended family have accepted our invitation to Thanksgiving dinner. I know turkey is traditional fare, but do you have any ideas on how to add a little pizazz to this holiday feast?" Holidays are always a bit more stressful than they need to be. Here at our homestead we not only invite family but several neighbors as well. We often have so many delicious entrees, side dishes and desserts that it can be quite difficult to sample them all, even for those who stay for the entire day. It is during these times that I break out the pen and notepad to jot down recipes from those who brought a dish to share. Collecting awe inspiring recipes is just one of my hobbies, as is sharing that wealth of information with my readers. I think we could all use a little extra help in the kitchen during the holidays, I know I always can. For this cookbook, I included several of my favorite Thanksgiving Day recipes. Some of these have become a time-honored tradition around our homestead, while others are excitingly new ideas to try this holiday for the first time. Garbage Can Turkey, despite the name, is one of the all-time favorites around here. The Sweet Potato Salad and Cheesy Pumpkin Pie are recipes to die for. I am sure you will enjoy any of these ideas once the finished product is complete. Bon Appetit, Ann Sullivan
