Attending church regularly, good stewardship of money, and volunteering are all a part of our attempts at surrender. I became a Christian at the age of eight when I decided to accept my family's faith as my own. At such a young age it seems impossible to pick a path that will take you through life. In Christian circles, this is actually quite common. Now that I'm a bit more experienced I understand that more often than not, the decision to follow Christ is genuine, but the daily surrender following that decision is scant at best. 40 Years Wandering follows my story from salvation to actual daily surrender - which occurred over thirty-two years later. Not long into my wandering, I realized that my story mirrors that of the Israelites from the Old Testament. And so I began writing my experiences with the hope that what I've learned will help someone else. (102 pages)
