Many of the current volumes on church leadership pertain to the church, and are addressed to leadership bodies. Others focus on leader health, numerical growth, and techniques for influence. In contrast, these, 52 Biblical Principles for Church Leaders is formatted as a personal manual, useful for the church leader and his/her character. The biblical mission of the church is redemption by saving faith in Jesus Christ. To perform it, the church must operate on biblical principles. Only then can it benefit believers and attract unbelievers. Sadly, these principles are unknown in many churches, or even ignored and disdained— undercutting trust in church leadership. The author wrote this message to guide today’ s church leaders and restore that trust among leaders who embrace them. In addition, readers will be trained in biblical understanding of leadership. The reader will grow in character and in their walk with God. The 52 principles are universally applicable— in or out of leadership, in church or out. All who incorporate these principles into their lives will enjoy greater satisfaction at all endeavors, and the commensurate success that comes with the knowledge and insight gained.
