"A Ballad for the Dawn" is a collection of poetry, prose and personal reflections from the mind and heart of an African American Pastor, Parent, Teacher, Community Advocate, and POET. It is both uplifting and deeply moving. Conversational in its approach, these writings explore a broad spectrum of life including, dating and relationships, love, faith, politics and HOPE! There will be times when the reader will be called to reflect. The reader will also be filled with laughter or moved to tears, connect to something powerful and encouraged to stand tall and fight, for faith, family, love and freedom.
