What is the best way to process trauma, grief, or even loss? Over the years, my family and I have experienced two life-threatening health diagnoses, multiple miscarriages, and an almost full-term pregnancy loss. As a believer in Jesus Christ, living through and healing from them to a degree, I have found that at your lowest point when you feel like the Father has left you, is the very point that He is the closest to you. If you are a believer in Christ, and you are experiencing trials, please know you are not alone. At times the Lord sent us help: an angel visitation, several miraculous healings, a whirlwind... but not always. Sometimes we had to endure the pain as our hearts broke, trusting God, knowing He would work things out for our good (Romans 8:28). By clinging to the Father instead of letting go of Him, He pulled us through every time. We are more in love with Him today than ever before. He is faithful. He is good. I have found that it is not about the trials, because Jesus said they would come. But it is how you handle the trials as God's friend that makes all the difference.
