Dr. J. W. Roberts taught his 1958 Koine Greek textbook, A Grammar of the Greek New Testament for Beginners, for 15 years in his Greek classes at Abilene Christian College (now Abilene Christian University). His dream of publishing what he considered the "best tested" Grammar for the study of Koine Greek was cut short by his untimely death in 1973. Mr. Potter obtained a copy of Dr. Roberts Grammar in 1999 and spent several years preparing this edition with the help of some of Dr. Roberts' former students. This is a great grammar for both beginning students making their first steps into reading the Greek New Testament and more advanced student wishing to refine their ability to read and exegete the Greek text of the New Testament.
