Although paper cutting has existed with human beings for thousands of years, there is no writing material to summarize its principles and detailed techniques. After more than 50 years of practice, and based on the previous published works, this author summarized the language of paper cutting and applied the composition rule to paper cutting. In this book, the author attempts to introduce the basic principles for paper cutting to readers. After more than 50 years of practice and research, the author, by combining the knowledge of engineering and traditional paper cutting, summarized the language for paper cutting, applied the composition rules, and attempted to establish the basic principles for paper cutting. Today, the author selected the patterns for more than 35 objects, creatures, and culture elements, compiled into this book, and would like to share the knowledge with readers and welcome any comment.
