Channing for courtesies to our pastor. Resolved, That whilst we see the hand Of God leading us in the present crisis Of our nation's history, we feel grateful to him for having raised up that noble band Of Abolitionists who for more than a generation have lifted up their voices in behalf of the oppressed, and in favor of freedom.
