So, I start scouring listings looking for a roommate, and I think that I’ve really lucked out when I see Daisy’s post. Then I meet her. Daisy is my opposite in every way. She’s sunshine in yoga pants, with a rescue dog, a houseplant addiction, and a tendency to hum to herself nonstop. She’s the opposite of what I thought I was looking for, but the more time that I spend with her, the more I start to fall for her, and it doesn’t take me long to realize I might be in more trouble than any mission I’ve ever faced. Living with Daisy feels less like a temporary arrangement… And more like home.
