Abby turned and noticed that the faded, blue paint on the walls of the cinema was running, as if it was melting. She was about to say, ‘Look at that,’ when the world turned black. Although not really black, not entirely. There were swirls of blue and grey and streaks of pink with pinpoints of yellow light, like far away stars. There was noise like wind howling around a building and animals roaring in the distance.
What began as an ordinary trip to the cinema turned into an exciting and dangerous adventure. After inheriting an unusual gift and magical stone, Abby with Colin, Becka and Justin find themselves transported back in time 2000 years to ancient Egypt. They are caught up in a dangerous mission to free a young boy condemned to die and to foil the plans of an evil High Priest to gain immortality and become the wicked ruler of all Egypt.
