This study provides an updated account of mammal species in Utah, building on previous research in the field. The authors aimed to document additional records of mammal species found in the state and report extensions of known ranges for various species based on fieldwork and observations.The paper highlights new distributional data for several mammals, providing geographic coordinates and descriptions of habitats where these species were encountered. These findings included new or previously undocumented occurrences of species, some of which expanded the known range of these mammals beyond what had been recorded in earlier surveys.
