The Adventures in Community Science Workbook is an interdisciplinary activity book that offers kids ages 8-12 the opportunity to build their collaborative, investigative, and scientific skills through hands-on, creative lessons. The Project-Based Learning approach includes two investigations for each of the following adventures:  • Horseshoe Crab Rescue • Night Lights (Firefly Activity) • Finding Frogs • Mystery Mussel • Lanternflies Have Landed • The Great Shorebird Migration • S.O.S. Save Our Spiders The projects can be used as an introduction to community science efforts or simply to strengthen investigative and creative skills for the budding scientist. Answer key is provided!
