I spent many years of my life going from heartache to heartache, searching for the kind of love that only God can provide. My disobedience to Him and my lack of knowledge of what a real relationship was supposed to be like led me to dark, sorrowful places. My self-inflicted pain could have been prevented, had I only listened to Him. Going through those trials was hard. But thankfully, God knows when enough is enough. If you turn your heart toward Him, He will bring you out of your trials, just as He did for me. My story is not a pretty one. You will see all the mistakes I made, but you will also see how God brought me through every one of them. I was bruised just enough to learn what I needed to learn, but God never allowed me to be broken. Through Him, I discovered joy after the pain.
