A woman struggling with loneliness discovers that she has cancer. She embarks on a journey to make a decision about undergoing treatment and continuing her life, while also seeking to uncover the meaning of life. Along the way, her path crosses with that of a banker whose life has fallen apart after his lover suddenly disappeared. During their mysterious investigation, they uncover that the missing lover, who was forced to hide her true identity, is a Yazidi who survived the persecution of ISIS and assumed a new identity. This journey leads them not only to confront the horrors of ISIS but also to explore the culture and traditions of a community that lives with the fear of being a minority and facing social exclusion.
