A year after the Sensory and Primal Planes reconnected, Saida and the other foxans have built permanent portal stations linking the five worlds so humans can experience new places. Saida and Alesio explore their blooming love with excitement as they unfold new planets of pleasure, trust, and truth in each other. Then a giant, rotating void, the Hunger, appears in all everyone's sky, terrifying the masses across all five Sense worlds. Saida and Alesio, along with some new friends, are tasked with finding a way to stop it from "consuming" everything. Alesio is obsessed with finding Clef to protect Saida, and Saida travels with a researcher to track down an ancient secret she hopes will help stop the Hunger. As they split their efforts, anxiety grows in both for different reasons. Saida fears she will hurt Alesio and distances herself from him, and Alesio fears that she will leave him because he's not strong enough to protect her. That's when Saida uncovers a secret about the Hunger that topples everything they thought they understood about their worlds, the universe, and the bonds that hold them close.
