This story is dedicated to my mother. It is hard to see what she has become, I know there are still pieces of her with me, and this is what I hold on to. I wish I had the information in this book when my mother was first diagnosed with this horrible disease, but alongside my story I have added many resources that are available to others. It also shows that even though you don't think that you have the strength, you find a way and you don't give up. I hope my story inspires you, and at the very least, you can use something in this book, whether the disease affects someone you know, or for preventative care.
