Has your child asked, "Why was I adopted?"
When Kathleen Lockwood's son posed that question, she knew the answer: "Because God wanted you to be exactly who you are, and he wanted us to be your parents." This eloquent response explaining adoption as the perfection of God's plan is illustrated throughout her touching story.
An Adoption Made in Heaven alters the adoption paradigm and tells the story that Amy is not given away but delivered to the parents God wants her to have. It is an invaluable tool for parents seeking to explain the spiritual aspects of adoption. It demonstrates to children that nothing has gone wrong; instead, their adoption was God's plan going right.
Amy Angel and Charlie Cherub are in the waiting-to-be-born heaven. They must learn the baby ways and earn their stars to be born. Each time a new lesson is accomplished, TWIZZLE-TWINK! a shooting star lands on their halos.
As the story unfolds, Amy sees her birth mother, who will deliver her to her parents.
