Dennis is a first-time self-publishing author with no formal writing experience before his first title release of "An Awakening Above the Valley A Confessional Memoir on Alcoholism and Rehab". Dennis has battled a life of addiction to alcohol. Dennis did not originally set out to write this memoir to be published but along his path of recovery he felt the need to share his personal demons and journey of his experience while in rehab as it could help others seek out the treatment or support that they may need or want to live a better fulfilled life.
