Coles An evaluation of western civilisation’s interference with the evolutionary creative process: Redeeming the cosmos at Bayshore Shopping Centre in Ottawa, ON

Our western civilisation has been tinkered, initially, with artifacts and knowledge taken from the first humans and from the ruins of ancient cultures. The last civilisational change, which originated in ‘the new world’, has interfered and perhaps derailed our species’ evolutionary pathway because it has almost tossed out the perennial and vital relationship between Homo sapiens and Nature which was the foundation and the hallmark of ancient civilisations. This fast-vanishing lifeline can be observed in the wilderness or in the Quantum space, has also been sustained amongst several remnant human cultures. It has recently gained importance in the research addressing individual health and community wellbeing. The vital contribution of Nature to all species’ cosmic trajectory, which we are too quickly discarding as delusional and counter-cultural, is in fact largely in the forms of invisible field of energy. It must be sustained if ‘progress’ means more than inventing cutting-edge tools and the strengthening of social controls on the Homo sapiens’ erratic behaviour. However, because of our recently acquired linear mindset, we have yet to fully come to terms with our unbroken lifeline with Nature and the cosmos and grasp what it means for our intelligence, and potentially for our future.
