Thus, the letter a has three difl'erent founds as in bale, barb, ball. E has two 3 as in beet, bet. I has a. Diphthongal found. As in bits and a vocal found, as in bit. 0 has two founds; as in boat, boat. I] has a diphthongal found, as in a]? And a vocal found, as in but.
