Ichabod Surname never imagined he'd be a stowaway on a pirate ship captained by none other than Captain Mustache himself—but that's exactly what happens when he and Charles find one docked at the marina one day after school. Ichabod has always dreamed of becoming a pirate. But he's quickly disappointed by Mustache's desire to stay on land than risk the high seas for an elusive treasure, all because they're afraid of a little bad luck. When Charles and Ichabod have a fight, Charles runs off to join Mustache's rival, Captain Fortuna in a search for the promised adventure. Now Ichabod must convince the crew to set sail on the unluckiest day of the year in order to mend his friendship, but will he be left walking the plank instead?
