Savannah, a Ukrainian orphan, wakes up in a hospital bed after being raped at an after-school party. She is pregnant as a result but is helped by her American adoptive parents to begin anew. Then life-demands flood in, forcing her to leave her child with her new family and travel across the ocean. Can she still build a future for them both?
Savannah never dreams her life is about to play out in a drama that started thousands of years earlier. There we find another Savannah who gets unexpected help from someone who sees her as she is and loves her all the way home.
About the Author
C. H. Vereen has long enjoyed writing for the family: plays, short stories, poetry, and even songs. He has sailed with the US Navy, served as a postman, pizzaman, pastor, and worked in the design side of the electrical industry. Today, he and his wife Sharon, enjoy living in the Southwest and sharing life with their children and grandchildren. All this contributed to the writing of this, his first book.
