In this section, I will briefly review some of them. According to Bouwman, the reason computerized diagnosis is not accepted by users is that traditional systems simply show the result, and don't show their explanatory paths. If a system shows the explanatory path along with its result, the user can double check the program's reasoning. This will also be helpful for decision making. Bouwman also analyzes the methods of operations of a group of financial diagnosticians, develops an operational computer program, and shows that his model closely mimics human decision making behavior.
