Jesus's miracles of healing were powerful attractions that caused great multitudes to assemble at the rumor of his coming. Consequently, in every town and village where Jesus was expected, people gathered all of the sick and infirm in one place where Jesus would heal them. Although Jesus was always willing to minister to the needs of the sick as a first priority, miracles of healing have not been given the same degree of importance in the modern-day church.
