Zidov Akuma has experienced in three decades what most people do not experience in one lifetime. Born into a working-class immigrant family, he slides into the underworld of Zurich, the capital of Switzerland and international banking. He forges money, robs, gas stations, and gets chased by the police in stolen cars. At the edge of the cliff, he makes a decision: his life as a gangster has to end and be replaced with a new beginning in Thailand. Without money or being able to speak English or Thai and full of self-doubt, he leaps off that cliff into the great unknown.
