This vintage book is a brief outline of the basic figures of the waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, tango, rumba, and samba. It was originally intended to aid those wishing to pass the Official Board of Ballroom Dancing test to achieve a bronze medal. "Ballroom Dancing To Bronze Medal Standard" is ideal for beginners and would make for a useful addition to collections of related literature. Contents include: "Waltz", "Closed Change", "Natural Turn", "Reverse Turn", "Natural Spin Turn", "Hesitation Change", "Reverse Corte", "Whisk and Chasse", "Suggested Amalgamations", "Quickstep", "Quarter Turn", "Quarter Turns", "Forward Lock Step", "Natural Turn", "Natural Turn with Hesitation, or Wide Finish", etc. Many vintage books such as this are increasingly scarce and expensive. It is with this in mind that we are republishing this volume now in an affordable, modern edition complete with a specially commissioned new introduction on dance.
