Afua Osei is a bright and gifted person. When she was young there was something about her that set her apart. She has always been smart which has opened the doors to a lot of things for her. So far In her life she hasn’t had to struggle much. Afua’s parents always provided and supported her through everything. She goes through a transition in college that changes the way looks at life. How she bounces back after adversity will determine everything. Along the way she finds love but she’s wondering if her love will last regardless of what’s going on in her life. She’s trying to become resilient in the face of obstacles. She was meant to shine. Afua doesn’t realize this until after she’s diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
