In Genesis we read that "God" created the heavens and the earth. But in the gospel of John we discover it was Jesus who brought everything into existence. Which was it?-God or Jesus? We seem to easily forget that Jesus IS God. He is the fullness of God in bodily form. But wait!-If Jesus did the creating in Genesis 1, but didn't come in the flesh until Bethlehem... then where was he and what was he doing between Creation and the manger? The term holds no passion and no feeling; But "Jesus", well, that's different. He is personable, warm and loving.
