Recent college grad Merry is fresh out of direction for her life, so she's gone back to Mercury, the small town where her estranged mother lives. Mercury isn't the boring place Merry remembers; it's actually a Transmutown, a hub for magic, vampires, and shifters. Merry is all ready to leave Mercury and return to reality, but this is reality. After Merry gets caught in a vampiric burglary where one of the vampires has powers that seem...impossible, she realizes isn't leaving town any time soon. And she isn't the only one in danger.
