...other youths of this generation really need to know the history of our country including major events like the Biafra war. We may pretend to have moved on, but we cannot afford not to remind ourselves where we are coming from and why we should avoid going back to our vomit...a compelling narration of what you experienced. I was particularly touched about your journey back to your village...Omoba...Simply put, the message of this book to me is a timely reminder that we need to avoid circumstances that led to incidents like Biafra... It is a message of giving peace a chance and avoiding disagreements that cannot be settled amicably... Lekan Otufodunrin Editor, the Nation on Sunday/Nigeria. ...totally exhilarating, but even more pedagogical ... absolutely riveting... -Dr. Femi Orebe Development Analyst ...I quite agree with what I think is the most important idea of this book: That change only comes from within and that education and enlightening people is the sure way to solving lots of Nigeria's problems. Education and enlightenment in a very broad sense: That nothing is ever going to change unless people come to realize that their lives are their own responsibility and a great deal depend on their own will and their own efforts, that nobody owes anybody anything and if people want their lives to improve, they should start doing something to improve themselves... Yulia Kasyankova. Russian Lawyer and Author.
