It is now the year 2123, and it was *supposed* to be a simple mission. 1st Lieutenant Kele-de "Kai" McMahon of the FAC (Free American Civil Militia) was called in with her special hunting team to take care of a troublesome mutant. Which was changed to a rescue mission, after Stormborn, a Watcher/Guardian on the Tzi Shu Osage Reservation, strongly advised them it should be done that way. THEN it turned into a race to protect some strong Millennials, when Kai met up with another team, led by an old friend, who were trying to unravel some mysterious vanishings. Unfortunately, the Socialist Purity Party reared its collective ugly head and made a huge error in snatching someone very special to Kai, which in turn upset the entire FAC organization. Battling the bad guys, helping a misunderstood mutant, desperately trying to locate Kai's man, and forming a treaty with Lake Superior's not so mythical water beings. Simple mission…uh huh. They should have known better…there is nothing simple about a situation when Kai's team gets called in.
