Marco Angelo is a newly minted attorney with no idea what he is getting into when he ends up at the ranch of Brewster Fulbright, a third-generation cowboy who is angry at all the Hollywood types and the New Yorkers who are erecting castles that block his view of the iron Mountains in southeast Wyoming. Brewster decides that he would build a wind turbine farm to chase them away and that's when he stepped into a parallel world of reality. All he needs to get are zoning rights but that effort opens the door for Violet Andresen, Chairman of the Harrison County Board to block his path because she's getting rich off the New Yorkers who are willing to pay her to deny Brewster his dream. Brewster finances Marco's law practice to fight the County Board to get the zoning passed but even as Brewster falls into this legislative black hole, he still can smile. His goal transforms into a dream to chase the land speculators away so he can continue to run his ranch as he always had. In the meantime, Brewster repeats a phrase that helps him maintain his sanity, "You have to save a little so you can dance the tango at the metropolitan bar in Paris." This satiric novel, Brewster Fulbright, follows the travails of Brewster and Marco as they try to tackle small-town politics. Eventually, with Marco's help, Brewster dances the tango at the Metropolitan Bar in Paris but not without battling the County Board and the District Court.
