This book is a result of an interdisciplinary effort by Syracuse University’s Future Professoriate Program (FPP) who invited authors to explore ideas on how institutions can better focus on the needs and perspectives of scholars and students with disabilities. The authors come from a variety of disciplines and have engaged in disability scholarship, activism, and accommodation in their classes. Further, it provides their personal experiences and methods for creating accessible and challenging learning environments.
