Cal Ripken Jr. is not just one of the greatest players in Baltimore Orioles history, but one of the most iconic figures the sport of baseball has ever produced. This chrome bat captures that extraordinary career in full, hand-signed by Ripken and loaded with inscriptions that tell the story of a résumé unlike any other: "83/91 AL MVP," "2131/2632," "HOF 07," "82 AL ROY," "19x AS," "3184 Hits," and "431 HR's." The "2131/2632" inscription carries tremendous weight, representing the night Ripken shattered Lou Gehrig's previously thought-to-be unbreakable consecutive-games record before ultimately extending his own mark to an astounding 2,632 straight games. Produced as part of a limited edition of 5, this Big Time Bats chrome bat is a rare collectible that reflects the full scope of Ripken's legacy.
