DEAR READER: Clara discovered that asking questions isn't annoying—it's amazing! Every "why" and "how" and "what if" can lead to wonderful discoveries. Never stop being curious!
YOUR TURN TO BE CURIOUS: What are three questions YOU want to find answers to? Draw or write them down, then go on a discovery adventure with your family!
QUESTIONS TO EXPLORE TOGETHER:
Clara's questions saved her whole herd. Can you think of a time when asking a question helped you or someone else?
At first, the herd thought Clara's questions were bothersome. Why did they change their minds?
Clara says "every 'why' is the beginning of an adventure." What do you think that means?
ACTIVITIES TO TRY:
Question Walk: Take a walk outside and ask "why" about everything you see!
Detective Game: Pick something in your house and ask 5 "why" questions about it
Question Jar: Write questions on paper, put them in a jar, and pick one each day to explore together
