With the scope defined, you learn how to work with your team to create their assignments and the sequence of tasks. Scheduling - You learn how to use a project management software tool: Microsoft Project(R)or the free version of Gantter(R). Our scheduling methodology lets you build and maintain professional schedules in ten minutes. Risk - You will learn a 5-step risk management process including 1.) risk identification, 2.) qualitative risk analysis, 3.) quantitative risk analysis, 4.) planning risk responses and 5.) tracking risks. Tracking - You learn how to use the team's weekly status data to update the schedule and analyze the variances. We show you how to plan for corrective action to get the project back on schedule. You will learn variance analysis, earned value and how to make a status report to the executives. Reporting - You learn how to use the template we provide to prepare a status report and Powerpoint (or Keynote) presentation. We show you how successful PMs answer the sponsor's questions.
