Country Girl is a telling of my journey through my childhood years in an isolated northern farming community in Manitoba, Canada, all the way through to my quiet and peaceful senior years. Life was so simple and innocent as a small child, sheltered from the harshness of the world. I am extremely naive as I enter the world of adulthood. I tell how Al-Anon saved my daughter's and my life, how Al-Anon gave me courage and strength to seek happiness and fulfillment.
