Diesel- I've been pining for Amara since she was taken from me. Every year I make the trip to just check in on her. I always tell myself that it's just to check on her, make sure she's okay. It's a lie. I need to see Amara at least once a year to sate my own thirst. She's the only reason I'm breathing, the only reason that I still walk this earth. Amara used to be my forever, and after I get the one phone call that turns my whole life upside down, I decide that she will be my forever, whether she wants it or not. Amara- Diesel is the only man that I've ever loved. We would have gotten married had it not been for my dad tearing us apart. I still love him, even though he participated in the biggest betrayal that I have ever had the unfortunate luck to witness. It was that betrayal that caused me to hide our daughter. My father had been right all along, bikers do not care about anyone other than themselves. But why do I still love him? Now our daughter wants to move away from my parents and head to Boston because that's where her college of choice is, and I'm debating it. Even if it means running into him and his stupid friends, people I used to call my friends and family. Diesel used to be my forever, now that can never happen again. Especially after a visit with my father leaves me with a gunshot wound to the head, having to learn how to walk and talk again, and knowing that someone is coming after me, which means they're coming after my daughter too. Maybe Diesel and the guys of The Salacious Bastards can help protect us, but I don't want to fall under his spell again. And I'm afraid that it's going to happen.
