The work of Belgrade-born, London-based artist Djordje Ozbolt (born 1967) combines technical expertise with a light touch, offering a great example of what an uninhibited approach to the venerable genres of painting and sculpture can look like today. Infused with wit and humor (of all varieties: satire, slapstick, black), Ozbolt takes on themes of history, politics and travel, among others, in his work, which has increasingly come to include sculpture.
