The Dragon Assassins screwed up. Bad. A routine ghost killing. Simple. Straight forward. But they didn't check to see if the naked girl was actually a ghost before they put a bullet through her still beating heart. They have a big problem; a real-live dead body and no way to dispose of it. But it's Stampede time in Calgary and half the city is wasted. Who's going to notice one more girl who's had ten too many? Surely even two bumbling eighteen-year-olds can figure out how to ditch the corpse before anyone realizes the dead drunk girl they're dragging around isn't drunk at all. Just dead. And it's not like anyone would expect the Dragon Assassins to save Calgary from the Nostrum, an uber-powerful destroyer of cities. Who'd be that crazy?
