Parker Holladay is an investigative reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle and is on the trail of a career-making story. She has gained inside access to Wes Gannon's drug empire, but before her story can be published, her source is murdered by Gannon's men and she becomes his next target. Despite the tragic end of their marriage, David will stop at nothing to keep Parker safe, but he is under pressure from his boss to force her to become a witness for the DEA.
