As a child Ezekiel Jeremiah Kaufman was not quite the same as other kids.
It seemed he had a special gift, not that as a child it was something he ever wanted. This gift gave him a unique connection with God and manifested itself with episodes of heightened prophetic and sensory ability. Others, even some close to him, didn’t support his views, forcing mental health incarceration and treatment upon him.
As the years passed, he developed increasing control and understanding of his abilities. But there was an evil out there. He could sense it and at times feel it. It struck out at those he knew and those he tried to help. Lives had been lost and the innocent hurt. The Evil One was gathering strength and developing into a maestro of pain, torture and death. It became Ezekiel’s mission to find this monster and, God willing, put an end to the carnage.
