Andrea "Ande" Nilson is the spunky 28-year-old owner of "Picture This on Main" photography studio in the college town of Brookings, South Dakota. The petite gal spends her days photographing everyone from her favorite subjects - pets, to her least favorites-children. Ande's sidekick, Flash, is a talented parrot who gets the attention of her clients by standing on her shoulder and squawking appropriate, and sometimes not-so-appropriate phrases. The Main Street merchants are frustrated by the shabby work and crass behavior of the construction crew hired to renovate Main Street. Being the most outspoken one in the group, Ande makes it her job to get the crew in line. But when a suspicious death occurs, she becomes the number one suspect, throwing herself into full detective mode in order to clear her name. In addition to sleuthing, Ande undergoes some highly comical photo shoots. She endures the odd behavior of the most peculiar local police officer, reunites with her best friend, and meets a handsome child wrangler. Will she find the murderer and clear her name or will she forever be framed fur murder?
