The legend of the octopus in Detroit began on April 15, 1952, when two brothers tossed one onto the ice to symbolize the eight wins then needed for a Stanley Cup. That singular act of playoff hope grew into one of hockey's most beloved traditions, giving rise to Al the Octopus as the official mascot of the Detroit Red Wings. This Funko Pop!
