A glamorous movie actress is drowned in her hotel room bathtub. Jake, who is investigating her murder, asks Catherine to help him communicate with her. Catherine is a fan, and she's curious despite herself. The actress is compelling even as a ghost. But she communicates with Catherine and Jake only in terse commands to bring her this or that person. She won't talk to them other than that, but as they listen in on her conversations, they believe they get an idea of her goal. Meanwhile, a man Catherine knows (and distrusts) is hanging around the hotel. She knows he tries to take pictures of ghosts. That makes her wonder—are there ghost paparazzi? Even if there are, what can she do about it?
