God has spoken to me. Jesus has spoken to me. The Holy Spirit has moved through me. An Archangel has stood beside me — more than once.
This is not a metaphor. This is not an invitation to pretend. This is the account of fifty-eight years of direct, ongoing, and deeply personal relationship with God — told plainly, by a man who has been held accountable with precision, forgiven with mercy, and carried through the unsurvivable by a love he never thought to ask for.
Patrick J. Delohery is a sixty-eight-year-old electrical engineer. He has spent his professional life in the world of measurable signal, verifiable data, and reproducible results. He is named inventor on multiple U.S. and foreign patents. He does not deal in wishful thinking. When he tells you God spoke to him — in the silence after the worst night of his life, in a chapel in Colorado Springs, in the voice of an old friend, through an Archangel standing in a kitchen flooded with blinding light — he means it with the same precision he brings to everything else.
He is not writing a theology. He is not starting a movement. He is simply telling you what happened to him, in his life.
If you have walked away from organized religion but not from God — this is for you. If you have had experiences you cannot explain and cannot forget — this is for you. If you are sitting in grief right now, wondering where He is — this is especially for you.
God does not live inside a denomination. He does not require a hierarchy to reach you. He speaks in whatever language will reach you — and He speaks to you, too.
God Speaks to Me, Too is the record of a life that proves it.
