It has been the experience of some to wrestle with faith in God because of the questions that life can bring. It matters little how close or casual your walk of faith is; God doesn't mind us wrestling; He encourages it. God is never offended when we sincerely come to Him asking WHY, HOW, or WHEN! To think otherwise leaves us fighting dissatisfaction and confusion as we strive for answers before making His acquaintance. Growing In Knowing God is not about developing religious habits but a relationship built on sincere responses to God's word. The responses God often requires of us are the baby steps of vulnerability and transparency that challenge us to depend on him for a life more abundant than clout or a career ever could. As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tested and true. He is a shield to all those that put their trust in him.
