Middle-aged barista Mac Liu's biggest workplace dread isn't cleaning industrial coffee machines or dealing with rude customers—it's Ruben Goodfellow, the rich executive who tries to woo Mac with his hefty tips and golden retriever attitude. Mac couldn't be less interested in someone like Ruben, but in an attempt to stifle Ruben's never-ending advances, Mac agrees to let Ruben take him out on a date. Surely once Ruben has more than a five-minute conversation with Mac while off the clock, he'll finally get the hint that Mac isn't the type to be won over by expensive meals and flashy gifts.
