Hurricane Dorian is a heartbreaking tale for The Bahamas. It was one of the strongest North Atlantic hurricanes and the strongest Bahamian hurricane and caused about $3.4 billion in damages to the Bahamian economy. Hurricane Dorian struck Abaco and Grand Bahama with wind speeds of 185 mph and had the highest wind speeds for a North Atlantic landfalling hurricane.
