Lawrence Eckhard, the man Parker writes about in the article, is the CEO of Microscape, a pharmaceutical company, and one of the richest, most powerful, and most influential people in the business world. The article goes viral online. It's even brought up on talk shows and news channels. To avoid a potential lawsuit, Parker follows Lawrence all the way to Taiwan to apologize in person.
